New Freight Forwarding Terminal For Anglo Oversea's Ltd., Thurrock New Factory For Sinclair International, Norwich New Freight Forwarding Terminal For Frans Maas (UK) Ltd., Tilbury

The project involved the construction of a new factory, offices and associated site works on a previously undeveloped site at Bowthorpe Industrial Estate, Norwich. Phase 1 of the development comprised
approximately 1245 meters square factory and 630 meters square offices, the building being designed to allow future enlargement to approximately twice the size.


The construction is a steel portal frame with insulated metal profile roof and wall cladding. The offices and factory are separated by a full height 215mm thick blockwork compartment wall. The external walls of the offices are lined internally with blockwork and internal partitions are blockwork. The offices are arranged on two floors, constructed within the portal frame envelope. A lift is provided to the offices.

Ancillary works included car parking, yard and services areas, together with landscaping and planting.
