The Horstead Centre is a residential training centre providing courses and activities for the young, housed in a Victorian rectory and associated annexed buildings.

Gibbs Bonner Minns Partnership were commissioned to prepare a feasibility study for the conversion and/or extension of the existing premises to provide more suitable and up-to-date facilities.

Subsequently, we developed and obtained detailed planning permission for a scheme incorporating all of the required additional accommodation within the existing 'footprint', principally involving the provision of a first floor extension over existing single storey buildings and the re-ordering of existing accommodation.
