The project comprises the construction of a new three bedroom house with garage, constructed next to a former windmill on a garden plot in a small Norfolk village. The owners are carrying out the construction work themselves, either directly or by using subcontractors for specialist work.

The house is of timber framed construction with external brick cladding. A high level of insulation is achieved using Warmcell

cellulose fibre insulation. Services comprise whole-house ventilation and underfloor heating.

Construction commenced in late summer 1998.
